It didn't freeze last night, but the skiing was still good. Because of the warm temps the snow was certainly softer today, but it was still skiing good. Today it seemed like the snow that hadn't been touched, which was obvious by it's dirty quality was skiing the best. This might be because that dirt was protecting it from the sun a bit. The nothern aspects were also skiing really good and spots that were shaded and northern like Sherwood Cliffs were skiing particularly well. It was quite breezy up there which also helped the snow. The main park is apparently done for the season, I think what appeared to maintenance was actually destruction of the park. The mini park is still open though. It looks like we are in for a bit of a heat spell. So for the rest of the week look for similar conditions. Get there early for the best snow, and enjoy this last week of lift service skiing we have. |
